What is the purpose of the Clear Creek Corridor Master Planning Process?
The City of Golden has retained Wenk Associates to create, through an extensive public process, a 10-15 year plan to guide the development and/or redevelopment of the Clear Creek Corridor. The final plan will provide a summary of existing conditions, inventories and analysis. It will integrate existing facilities, activities and uses along the Clear Creek Corridor with future passive and recreational uses. The final plan will provide specific recommendations, including management, future land use, conceptual designs and associated cost elements.
How long will the master planning process take?
The timeline projected for the preparation and completion of the Clear Creek Corridor Master Plan is one year.
What opportunities will there be to get involved?
In addition to following this project site and providing comments and suggestions, the public process will include several stakeholder meetings, three public workshops and several presentations to Golden City Council. See the Get Involved tab for information on upcoming meetings.
